Pain reaching overhead, disrupted sleep, a shoulder that catches.

Shoulder pain and impingement can turn simple things — reaching overhead, sleeping on that side, reaching behind your back — into a daily frustration. We assess your shoulder's mechanics and rotator cuff strength to identify what's catching, then combine hands-on treatment with a graded strengthening program to get it moving freely again.

Treated as part of our physiotherapy service.

Common causes

  • Rotator cuff overload or weakness
  • Repetitive overhead activity (work or sport)
  • Poor shoulder blade control and posture
  • A previous injury or dislocation

Our approach

  • Detailed shoulder and rotator cuff assessment
  • Hands-on treatment to reduce impingement and pain
  • Progressive rotator cuff and scapular strengthening
  • Graded return to overhead activity or sport
